Hertfordshire Mental Health Kitemark, awarded September 2021, in recognition of the school’s provision for, and impact of support for mental health and wellbeing across the whole school community.
Primary Science Quality Mark Gilt, awarded September 2021, for sustained high quality teaching and learning in science. The school is regularly used as an exemplar of excellent practice in science.
Children Challenging Industry – in partnership with The University of York. Our children came second in the national competition in summer 2021.

Primary Sportsperson of the Year
The school was runner-up in the 2020 Hertfordshire Community Awards, in the category of ‘School of the Year’. This award covers all schools across the county and recognises their work across the whole spectrum of academic provision, pastoral care and the wider community. The 2020 awards had a particular focus on the work of the school during the pandemic.
Four members of staff completed the Culham St Gabriel’s Teach RE course and all received the award of distinction in 2022.
The two subject leaders for RE completed an 18 month ‘InspiREd’ programme with the Diocese of St Albans developing leadership in inspiring RE. The school was chosen an exemplar of excellent practice in RE and the subject leaders presented at the Hertfordshire RE Conference 2021.

The Maths subject leader completed the two year Maths Specialist Teacher programme accredited by the University of Hertfordshire. This recognises quality provision for the teaching and learning of mathematics across the school.
